Beads on a Wire
There sure was a whack of stuff, so I got some of this and a bit of that, but stiil the shells stumped me...jewelry, collage.....what.  I had noticed quite a variey of sparkly things at the crafty store, so back I went and was stuuned by the variety of beads.  Yes, I had done the bead thing in the 60's...tiny little beads on a loom, but this was well beyond that.

As I began to sort through all the possibilities, I kept coming back to colour.  Colour and all the possibilities are one of the things that attracted me to Daylilies and so it is with beads. And the bead weaving offers a challange akin to building...I made furniture in a previous life...the '80's.

I have become slightly, shall I say, obsessed.  Food - don't need it - drink - maybe a bit... so here are my offerings in two parts
Off-loom Weaving
Beading My Brains Out
Welcome to
This little adventure  started  in early 2011.  It began as an exploration of the shells I had from my grandmother.  She made jewelery with them from the 1930's to the 1950's.  I was quitting smoking and needed something to keep me occupied.   I went to the dreaded 'craft supply' store and had a look see at what I might need to turn all these shells into something.
